MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION 2010/2011

I, the undersigned, being of full legal majority do hereby submit this application to the Corps de Napoleon (hereafter "CDN") for membership for the 2011 parade. Attached is a deposit of $___________ ($100.00 minimum). I understand that if this application is disapproved by the membership committee, the deposit will be refunded.

Upon acceptance by the membership committee of CDN, as a member for the 2010 session, I agree to be bound by the bylaws of CDN, the laws of the State of Louisiana and applicable parish and/or municipal laws. In addition, I agree and affirm that no objects may be manufactured, imprinted, marked, etc. by me or my agent, utilizing the organizational name, crest, logo, etc. in any form whatsoever, nor may objects be marked anywhere or offered to any member in competition with objects sold by CDN, without expressed, written permission of CDN. I hereby acknowledge, and agree to pay the full membership dues of $250.00.

***Full time students, college or high school, upon proof of enrollment, can ride in Napoleon for $175.00.***

1. $100 MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH APPLICATION. BALANCE, IF ANY, PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO DECEMBER 1, 2010

In consideration of full payment of membership dues, CDN agrees to furnish:

A costume for use in the 2011 parade (costume to be returned in good condition to CDN immediately after the parade).

1. Accommodations to ride in the 2011 parade.

2. Coronation Ball ticket is not included in dues payment. Tickets to the Coronation Ball can be purchased from CDN at an additional cost to the member.

3. The $250.00 payment is to ride, costume and After- Parade-Party.

It is further agreed that CDN will furnish the articles above upon acceptance of said membership dues in full, unless the parade and/or ball are cancelled due to war, civil disturbance, strike, weather, mechanical conditions beyond our control, national disaster, Jefferson Parish Sheriff Office action or decision or Jefferson Parish Citizens' Affairs action or decision.

Members are encouraged to participate in the many functions of CDN throughout the year. Please refer to the itinerary and occasional newsletters for meeting and other function dates. This information is also regularly updated on the official web site at www.napoleonparade.com. Please verify all personal information submitted below as newsletters, itinerary and e-mails from CDN are the only way to stay informed and up-to-date on all CDN events. Additionally, costume sizes are a very important part of the operation of CDN and we request that all members fill in all blanks on the membership application.
