Re: Bead and Doubloon Distribution

Dear Member(s):

I am writing to advise that the bead and doubloon distribution will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Beads by the Dozen, 333 Edwards Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana 70123. The distribution will be conducted during the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

For those of you who have ordered, you must pick up your throws and settle all balances at that time. If you reside out of town, please make arrangements for someone to pick up your throws, or call the Captain directly to make arrangements.

For those of you who have not ordered any items from the Corps, you may still do so and pick up some items that you may want on the day of distribution in spite of the fact that you have not ordered anything.

This is to request that all float lieutenants review their roster and make certain that all members participating on their float pay all dues.

Please also remember that there will be a meeting at the Captain’s house on February 13, 2012 to return all tickets to the after parade party which have not been sold. In addition, all costumes will be distributed to the Float Lieutenants at that time.

Members are still coming in at this point and this is to request that you once again review your floats and get everything in order so that we can order the costumes before the parade.

A final newsletter will come out in early February. This letter will provide all information you will require for the parade day.

I have also received several calls regarding rooms at the Landmark. I have spoken with Lisa at the Landmark and was told that in all probability, rooms for one night will be available on the parade day.
