Re: Corps de Napoleon Coronation Ball
I am writing to advise, that because of circumstances beyond my control, it will be necessary for us to reschedule the Coronation Ball.
The new date for the ball is January 16, 2010 at the Landmark Hotel.
Naturally, you know, we have issued tickets for the November 7, 2009 function and all of those tickets will be honored for the price of $75.00.
To those members who have collected money for the Coronation Ball, just hold the checks and tickets and those tickets will be honored at the January 16th 2010 date.
The January 16, 2010 is firm and there will be no changes with this date.
However, I must advise that this change was necessitated by what I considered to be false representations made by the Presidential Palace and like I said the change of date was beyond my control.
As you know, I am the custodian of the Corps money and as such, I must act in a fashion whereby your best interests are protected.
This is what prompted my action, cancelling the November 7th date and rescheduling for January 16th at the Landmark Hotel.
